Sam Hassan joined All Nations Cup as a volunteer and the coach of Brazil, winning the very first edition of All Nations Cup.He sees ANC as the only event in the 3 continents that he lived in where everybody puts it together, everybody is the show and spectator at the same time. A place to be happy for 2 weeks, a place of pride and unification.
When he’s not cooking - he’s had several restaurants in Rio de Janeiro (his hometown), London and Seattle - Sam can be found coaching youth soccer around town. He sees coaching as reminiscent of his 17 years of teaching Physics and Math back in Brazil. Sam was also the Events Coordinator for IPCN, an Afro-Brazilian institution back in Rio that fought racism in Brazilian society. |

Jessica Breznau is the founder of Sister Communities and the All Nations Cup. The result of a brainstorm during a micro-enterprise project in Honduras, Sister Communities is a further expansion of Jessica’s interest in connecting communities. She had long recognized the need for cross-cultural friendships in the diverse neighborhoods of the Puget Sound region, and, upon returning home, founded Sister Communities in the Spring of 2003 with the All Nations Cup (formerly World Cup Seattle) as its first project. Jessica served as Executive Director for the first five years of Sister Communities and All Nations Cup before stepping down in order to work on other projects. She is currently at work with her new small business Southside Booty Camp, a dynamic outdoor women’s fitness program designed to help women feel confident and strong in their bodies. |
